The Swedish Public Health Agency wants to introduce corona certificates for public gatherings and events with more than 100 participants indoors.

The measure will be presented at the government’s press conference this afternoon, the news agency TT writes.

This summer, the Swedish government and the Public Health Authority began preparing to introduce vaccination certificates if needed. The proposal was sent for consultation in September.

Public events include sports events, theater performances, cinemas, concerts, markets, and trade fairs. Demonstrations, religious meetings, and lectures are also affected by the expected measure.

On the other hand, restaurant visits are not included, as long as there is no live music or dancing on the premises.
