At least two women have been deported by the Kurdish authorities in northeastern Syria and are on their way to Sweden, according to several Swedish media.

According to SVT, a delegation from the authorities, consisting of police, social workers, and doctors, will meet the women at Arlanda airport outside Stockholm on Thursday.

The newspaper Göteborgs-Posten writes that two women will arrive in Sweden.

Swedish authorities have received groups of three women who have been deported from Syria twice during the autumn.

The women joined the terrorist group ISIS and have been imprisoned in the camps of the Kurdish forces since the collapse of the organization.
