Envoys and organizations from all over the world have gathered in Malmö for a conference on the Holocaust and the fight against anti-Semitism.

“A great day. This is also personally important to me,” Prime Minister Stefan Löfven said when he opened the Forum on Holocaust Remembrance and Combating Antisemitism (ReAct).

“We must never forget the Holocaust,” the Swedish Prime Minister emphasized, expressing hope that the conference in Malmö will result in concrete measures to combat racism and anti-Semitism.

“We experience anti-Semitism all over the world, and since 2019, we have seen it increase. We must do what we can to fight this, and that is why we are here,” Löfven said.

The Malmö conference addresses four topics: the memory of the Holocaust, education about the Holocaust, anti-Semitism on social media, and the fight against anti-Semitism and other forms of racism.
