Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson tests positive for corona
Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson is infected with the coronavirus, her press secretary stated on Friday.
“The Prime Minister has tested positive for COVID-19 in a rapid test. She will follow the current advice and work from home,” the press secretary said in a statement to TT.
Andersson is allegedly in good shape.
Both the Green Party’s Per Bolund and the Center Party’s Annie Lööf have tested positive for corona after a party leader debate in the Swedish parliament (Riksdag) on Wednesday.
They also attended a meeting with Prime Minister Andersson and other party leaders on Wednesday afternoon.
