On Friday morning, a Swedish 17-year-old was shot and killed in a hair salon outside Copenhagen.

The boy’s relatives have been notified, the police stated on Saturday. They did not say whether the 17-year-old was resident in Denmark or just visiting the country.

No one has been arrested in the case so far. Two people entered the hair salon in Rødovre and fired several shots – a 15-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man were injured in the shooting.

An eyewitness said that the perpetrators were masked. The police have so far neither confirmed nor denied that the case is related to gang crime.
