A taxi driver has been arrested after he attacked two passengers because of a dispute over payment. The driver used a stun gun at the men.
The arrest occurred at three o’clock on Saturday night at Lye outside Bryne in Rogaland.
– There has been a disagreement between the driver and passengers which has lead to the driver running after the passengers and attacking them, operations manager Henning Andersen in South Western Police District said to TV2 News. The driver used a stun gun against the two men.
– He both used the weapon to administer electrical shocks and to simply strike them, like by using a club or baton, the operational manager says.
Andersen says that the two men were very scared and were strongly affected by the incident, but they escaped with minor injuries. The arrest of the taxi driver was made without any drama.
