Taxi driver seriously injured in traffic accident in Oslo

A taxi driver has been seriously injured in a collision between two cars at Ryenkrysset in Oslo. Two people from the other car fled the scene.

The injured taxi driver has been taken to the hospital. The police in Oslo reported the accident at 6:26 AM. They suspect drunk driving was the cause of the accident. 

“The taxi was hit from behind,” operations manager Christian Krohn Engeseth told NTB.

The police are looking for the two people who ran away after the collision. 

“We do not know the identity of the two people at the moment,” Engeseth said.

Both cars were badly damaged.
