Buses have been organized as an alternative after technical problems led to a complete stop of Bybanen traffic in Bergen.
The technical issue prevents the drivers from communicating with the operations center, the newspaper Bergens Tidende writes.
It is unclear why the error occurred.
“We are still working on troubleshooting. Both Bybanen and our suppliers are on it. We do not yet know how long this will take,” operations manager Marianne Røtnes Kramer in Bybanen stated.
Bybanen operations have been paralyzed for two hours, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) reports.
Busses are covering the line along the entire affected stretch.
