A 14-year-old boy was robbed at knifepoint at Haraløkka in Bøler in Oslo, Sunday evening. The subway was held for a while by the police in connection with the robbery.

“He was deprived of some things, but I do not want to go into what that is. It is, an accomplished robbery,” says operations manager Gjermund Stokkli in Oslo police district to NTB.

The boy who was robbed did receive a cut from the knife during the robbery, but it is a superficial wound.

“The robbers were very threatening and it has certainly been very dramatic for the boy. We are serious about this incident and have invested many officers in the search for robbers,” Stokkli says.

The robbers are described as teenagers or young men. One is a light skinned individual wearing a light gray hooded sweater while the other was dark skinned and wearing dark clothing.

The police stopped the rail systems for a while at the Bøler station. Spørveien reports on Twitter that a departure from Mortensrud was canceled as a result.

“We had indications that the robbers had run in the direction of the subway, but they have not been apprehended yet,” says Stokkli.
