Temperature records registered at 13 measuring stations in Norway

This weekend, a heat record for March was reported at 13 measuring stations of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.

The weekend was hot from Tromsø in the north to Kråkenes in the south, the meteorologists wrote on Twitter on Monday.

In Molde, the temperature reached 15.9 degrees. The previous record at this station was 15.2 degrees – a record set in 2007.

New records were registered at the following stations: Kråkenes (14.9), Svinøy lighthouse (13.8), Molde (15.9), Veiholmen (13.8), Sula (12.6), Buholmråsa lighthouse (12.6 ), Brønnøysund (13.5), Vega-Vallsjø (12.2), Leknes (10.5), Skrova lighthouse (10), Svolvær (10.3), Bø i Vesterålen (10), and Tromsø (9.7 ).
