Both Halden and Fredrikstad have registered ten new corona infection cases in the last 24 hours. In Sarpsborg, there were six new cases of infection on Thursday.
One of the infection cases in Halden is a close contact of an infected person in Fredrikstad, and eight are close contacts connected to the outbreak in the Halden ice rink. One case has a currently unknown route of infection, the Municipality stated.
There are now 362 people living in Halden who have tested positive for coronavirus since the outbreak in March.
Fredrikstad Municipality states that all the new cases of infection are close contacts to known cases of infection.
A total of 1,998 corona cases have been detected in Fredrikstad since the first case was registered on March 5 last year.
In Sarpsborg, six new coronavirus cases have been detected in the last 24 hours; one of them has an unknown route of infection. In total, the Municipality has registered 1,405 infection cases since March.
