The distance rules that apply otherwise in society are not complied with on airplanes. The authorities are announcing their own flight routines.

Director of Communications and Public Relations Silje Brandvoll in Widerøe tells NRK that they follow the recommendations of the Norwegian Public Health Institute, but that it is a challenge to keep passengers two meters away on a plane.

But now the Directorate of Health, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Transport and the airline industry are working more to find good routines for this, says Health Minister Bent Høie (H) to the channel.

The work was started just after Easter, when several people started flying again.
