There are still delays and cancellations on the Bergen line between Dale and Evanger after floods on Wednesday. Bane NOR does not know when the situation will be resolved.
“We hope to have all traffic running during the day,” press officer Britt-Johanne Wang in Bane NOR told news bureau NTB.
The Bergen line was closed at 7 PM on Wednesday after the company realized that parts of the railway were covered by water.
“The water has receded at Bolstadøyri. We have two teams on the way from Bergen and Voss who will check the situation and see whether there is damage to the substructure,” Wang added.
Bane NOR will present a new traffic update at noon. Travelers are asked to stay up to date on the traffic announcements via the Vy app or the website.
