The British virus variant will soon account for more than half of the positive samples in Norway, FHI chief warns
The British coronavirus variant will account for more than half of the positive samples in a short time, according to the National Institute of Public Health's (FHI) director Camilla Stoltenberg.

In the course of a week, the FHI expects to get a clearer picture of the British virus variant’s share among the total of infection cases in Norway.
The FHI assumes that it will amount to more than half in a short time, Stoltenberg said at Wednesday’s press conference.
“Possibly four to eight weeks from now, but also maybe earlier. We will get a clearer picture during the week,” Stoltenberg noted.
