Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) is happy that the vaccines are finally in Norway.

On Saturday morning, the first doses of the coronavirus vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech arrived at Ullevål hospital.

“It is very good to see that the first vaccines have arrived safely in Norway. We have been looking forward to this day for a long time.

“Now the big and long job of vaccinating people begins, so that we can slowly but surely take back everyday life,” Solberg said.

She added that many deserve praise for ensuring that the vaccine gets to Norway.

“I want to give a special thank you to everyone who has worked day and night for this day to come.”
