Danes party more than others during the corona pandemic, according to a British study, while Norwegians come in the third place.

During the summer, many Danes have stepped up their social interaction sharply. A new study now shows that they top a study of people’s behavior in a total of 26 countries.

The Dutch come in second, while the Norwegians take third place.

The study was conducted by researchers at Imperial College London using data from the research institute YouGov.

At the beginning of August, only 14 percent of Danes failed to invite guests home, while 35 percent avoided larger gatherings with more than ten people, the survey shows, according to DR.

At the beginning of June, 60 percent did not invite people home.

“This is something we are very aware of, because now we will soon enter the cold period, where we are more indoors. So it is very important that we take the good habits with us and maybe also tighten up a bit to prevent infection”, says director of the National Board of Health, Søren Brostrøm, to DR.
