The editor of the Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta, Dmitry Muratov, is auctioning off his Nobel medal.

He plans to use the proceeds to help war victims in Ukraine.

“Novaya Gazeta and I have decided to donate the Nobel Peace Prize Medal for 2021 to the Ukrainian Refugee Fund. There are already over 10 million refugees in Ukraine,” Muratov noted.
