The EU encourages both travelers and employees to wear face masks on trains and other public transport. But neither in Norway nor Sweden is it recommended.

The European Commission, the European Agency for Communicable Disease Control and the EU Railway Agency recommend in their updated advice that face masks should be used if it is not possible to keep a distance of 1.5 meters from others.

Train personnel should also wear face masks and be trained in it’s use, the recommendation states.

But on Swedish and Norwegian trains, there is still no advice on the use of face masks .

  1. Absolutely, and this was obvious 4 months ago.

And FHI – Camilla Stoltenberg – recently said that use of facemasks out in public may become necessary if the virus rebounds in Norway.

Norway’s Høyre government – Erna Solberg and Bent Høie – *has* protected us and won a tremendous victory for Norway and for us and our loved ones … overall … in this medical world war.
