A total of 55,000 inhabitants in Agder, Nordland, Vestland, and Oslo are currently being asked to respond to a corona survey by the National Institute of Public Health (FHI).

The county health survey on corona is being carried out for the third time. According to the FHI, it will be an important contribution to understanding how pandemic management has affected Norwegians after the reopening of society.

This is the third time the survey has been conducted in Agder and Nordland. In Oslo and Vestland, it is being carried out for the second time. Everyone who was invited to participate in the previous surveys will be invited again this time.

Important information

The results will, among other things, support the work against the pandemic, provide important information for the work of counteracting the negative consequences of the pandemic, and contribute to improving the national preparedness for future pandemics, researcher Tony Leino at the FHI stated in a press release.

In the previous survey, which was conducted from November to December last year, it was revealed, among other things, that a lot of young people struggle with loneliness and mental illness but that optimism related to the future remains high.
