According to newspaper VG, Sweden’s vaccine coordinator Richard Bergström states that there will be 9,750 doses in the first vaccine delivery to Norway.

Bergström informed the newspaper that all countries in Europe receive the same number of vaccine doses.

The delivery will be sent on December 24, provided that the European Commission approves the Pfizer vaccine.

“In the first delivery, everyone gets the same amount. Everyone gets two large cartons, each containing five additional cartons. So there will be a total of ten cartons with 975 doses,” he said.

The vaccine coordinator further estimated that there may be vaccine deliveries of between 30,000 and 40,000 vaccine doses a week to Norway in January.
