During a meeting on Thursday, Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) said it may be appropriate to introduce a stay ban on gangs in Oslo, where juvenile delinquency has increased.
Such a ban would be an instrument in the fight against rising child and youth crime.
– “The purpose is to give the police an opportunity to expel youth from areas, so that they can prevent, for example, fights. This is a tool, not a solution to the main problems of child and youth crime, but it can prevent an increase in the level of conflict,” Prime Minister Erna Solberg told VG at the Oslo meeting on Thursday evening.
