The rate of infection (R), which shows how many persons each corona infected individual has transmitted, has fallen from 0.55 to 0.49 in the last 24 hours.
This is stated in a daily report from the Public Health Institute (FHI) on Saturday.
The rate of infection rose from Wednesday to Thursday, before falling again.
FHI has emphasized that the rate of infection is based on figures associated with great uncertainty, but that it is the best estimate we have for the spread of infection in society today.
Keeping the infection rate below 1 has been the goal of the health authorities to prevent the number of infected persons from increasing in Norway.
