The metro through central Oslo will close at 9 PM, five days a week, for large parts of February and March due to maintenance work.

From February 6 to February 24, the metro traffic between Majorstuen and the Norwegian parliament (Storting) will stop between 9 PM and the first departure the following morning, the newspaper Aftenposten writes.

From February 27 to March 24, traffic between Jernbanetorget and Brynseng will stop between 9 PM and the first departure the following morning.

On Fridays and Saturdays, however, the metro will run as normal. On days when the metro traffic is stopped in the evening, alternative transport will be offered.
