The newly started airline Norse Atlantic Airways aims to fly customers between Europe and the USA next summer.

Norse Atlantic announced the news when they presented their plans for the start of their low-cost long-haul flights on Tuesday.

“We are on track to take off, and the first flights will take off when the global travel restrictions are lifted and the demand for transatlantic travel is back,” CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen noted.

He added that they are monitoring the situation so that they can transport customers between Europe and the US next summer and that they will start ticket sales about three months before the first flight.

In a press release, Norse Atlantic writes that they will have around 1,600 employees, all permanent employees, by the summer of 2022.
