The Norwegian Medicines Agency has received over 25,000 reports of vaccine side effects. More than 10,000 of them are yet to be processed despite the fact that the Norwegian Medicines Agency’s staff has been increased.

While close to 2,300 reports of corona vaccine side effects have been classified as serious, around 12,500 have been classified as non-serious.

Around 10,000 reports remain to be processed, newspaper Aftenposten writes.

The Norwegian Medicines Agency points out that the remaining reports that are yet to be processed are mostly not very serious reports.

“Even though we have hired a number of new employees, it will take a long time before we process all the reports. Processing one report can take from 15 minutes to many hours,” chief physician Sigurd Hortemo at the Norwegian Medicines Agency noted.
