From 2022, the Norwegian Post will no longer order fossil fuel vans for use in cities. Outside the cities, the Post will stop orders from 2023.

The Norwegian Post has laid out a new climate and environmental strategy.

The company will continue its transition to vehicles based on renewable energy – both when it comes to light vans and heavier vehicles.

By not using fossil vans, the Norwegian Post wants to follow up on the government’s climate report.

“We will be the greenest logistics supplier and are now setting ourselves new ambitious goals.

“We take responsibility and will contribute to achieving national climate goals by 2030 in the Nordic region,” CEO Tone Wille of the Norwegian Post noted.
