The nursing home service in Oslo and Helse Bergen do not know which of its employees have been fully vaccinated.

Helse Bergen told the newspaper VG that they do not control whether employees in clinical work have been vaccinated. The health trust estimates that between 90 and 94% of the employees are fully vaccinated.

Agency director Helge Jagmann in the nursing home service in Oslo told the newspaper that they also do not have a detailed overview of which of the nursing home employees have been vaccinated. The director estimates that 95% of the agency’s employees at long-term institutions and health centers have been fully vaccinated.

Two weeks ago, the Norwegian Directorate of Health clarified how municipalities should deal with unvaccinated health personnel. It stated, among other things, that unvaccinated health workers could be relocated if it is strictly necessary in order to offer adequate health services.

Assistant health director Espen Rostrup Nakstad has previously said that it is natural to relocate unvaccinated health workers if they are in contact with vulnerable patients.
