The Oslofjord tunnel will be closed all weekend
After a major traffic accident in the tunnel last week, the Oslofjord tunnel will be closed in both directions all weekend.
“The tunnel will be closed in both directions from Friday, October 8, at 10 PM, to Monday, October 11, at 5:30 AM, for replacement of wall elements in connection to the accident,” Vegtrafikksentralen announced on Twitter.
The tunnel has been partially closed since a truck drove into the tunnel’s wall on Monday last week.
It caused major damage to the concrete, but no people were seriously injured in the accident.
