The police have decided to start an investigation of the Al-Ghadir congregation after the large Coronavirus outbreak in Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad.

– “We have just received the report and been in dialogue with the police attorneys. On that basis, the police have decided to initiate an investigation into the case,” says the crime department lead Kai Andersen of the Sarpsborg police to Sarpsborg Arbeiderblad.

Sarpsborg municipality reported Al-Ghadir on Monday. The Coronavirus eruption in the two Østfold towns is traced back to a celebration of the Ashura holiday in Skjeberg.
