The police are investigating a possible rape at a football pub in Bergen
The police have received a report of rape at the Football Pub (Fotballpuben) in Bergen city center. The case is being investigated.
The rape is said to have taken place in one of the bar’s toilets on the night of Saturday, July 31. So far, no one has been charged, the newspaper Bergens Tidende writes.
“We are actively working on the case. For the sake of the investigation, we can not provide any more information,” police attorney Lillian A. Kleppe in the Western Police District noted.
According to the newspaper VG, the victim is a woman.
“I will not comment on the case as long as it is under investigation,” the Football Pub’s general manager Frank Binner said.
