The police want to get in touch with a man who was standing at Nytorget outside Coop in Kongsberg and is said to have been shot at with a bow and arrow.

At a press conference on Thursday, police inspector Per Thomas Omholt said that the accused perpetrator, Espen Andersen Bråthen, shot at this witness from the entrance to Coop.

“We have heard from another witness that this man is said to have said that he believed someone shot at him with a bow and arrow,” Omholt noted.

He says the police hope the witness will get in touch as soon as possible.

According to Omholt, Bråthen shot arrows at several people who were on their way to their home or from their home near the Coop store. He also shot multiple arrows at people inside the store and, among other things, hit an off-duty policeman.
