Six of the 15 corona fines that were issued in the Southeast of Norway last week were linked to Torp Airport due to a failure to present negative corona tests upon entry.

It is mandatory to present a negative corona test upon entry, but some people are not aware of the rules.

“The other fines have been issued are connected to infected persons not staying in isolation and quarantine, both at home, on entry, and at quarantine hotels,” head of the geographical operations unit Vestfold, police inspector Øystein Holt, told newspaper Tønsbergs Blad.

In Færder, a woman in her 50s was reported for violating the Infection Control Act. She used public transport from Borgheim to Vrengenbrua, where the police confronted her.

Two days later, the same woman was arrested for violating the corona rules – again.
