The Norwegian Prime Minister sang with Dissimilis
Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) and Princess Astrid were present during Dissimilis’ traditional Christmas performance.
The annual Christmas performance where Dissimilis’ Christmas presents stories, songs, and messages that belong to Christmas. Three years after Founder Kai Zahl died, Princess Astrid, Mrs Ferner, is the Foundation’s protector, ever-present during the performance this year, which was held on Saturday night at the Bærum Culture Hall.
– The performance invites reflection and thought around the many things that can easily disappear in the busy time towards Christmas. The content is new every year and pieced together through thoughts and input from students at the competence centre, with what they associate with Christmas, Dissimilis writes about the performance.
Besides the regular presence of the Royal family, Prime Minister Erna Solberg was also among the promoters. After the show, she met several of the artists and posed for selfies.
For over 30 years, Dissimilis has worked actively for people with disabilities and other handicaps to have a place in the cultural landscape and in a society that equals practitioners and people.
