The quarantine hotels in Oslo and Viken are almost full
The hotels in Oslo and Viken that are used for quarantining people traveling to Norway are almost full. The County Governor is asking the municipalities to take action.
On Friday, Lillestrøm Municipality was ordered to set up between 200 and 1,000 quarantine hotel places. Other municipalities might have to follow suit, the County Governor in Oslo and Viken stated.
Preferably, County Governor wants municipalities to make the decision voluntarily.
Oslo and Viken, Ullensaker, Oslo, and Sarpsborg are home to most quarantine hotel guests.
The County Governor is in dialogue with several municipalities in Viken to tackle capacity issues.
