The regional corona measures in Grenland and Vestfold are being lifted
The regional corona measures in ten municipalities in Vestfold and Telemark counties will be lifted on Friday. The municipalities have recently been at the B level of measures.
This applies to the municipalities of Bamble, Færder, Holmestrand, Horten, Larvik, Porsgrunn, Sandefjord, Siljan, Skien, and Tønsberg.
According to the Norwegian government, the municipalities would rather introduce local measures.
“The infection situation has stabilized in the municipalities, and there is therefore no longer a need for strict regional measures,” Minister of Health and Care Services Bent Høie (H) said.
The repeal is in line with the recommendations from the Norwegian Directorate of Health, the National Institute of Public Health (FHI), and the County governor.
