The autopsy report of the woman who was found killed in Bærum on Tuesday night shows that she was the mother of the man who is now charged with murder.

“The woman was in her 60s, and the accused man is in his 30s,” the Oslo Police District wrote in a press release.

The police found the dead woman in an apartment at Bekkestua in Bærum on Tuesday. The police moved out to the address after the son was involved in a collision in Lier at 11:30 PM on Monday.

On Wednesday, the man in his 30s was remanded in custody for four weeks. At the time, he was still hospitalized due to the accident. The extent of his injuries is not known.

The police informed NTB on Wednesday that an initial interrogation of the accused had then begun.
