For the first time, the age group 20–29 years is at the top of the statistics for new coronavirus cases. This is according to new figures from the Institute of Public Health.
Last week, a decrease in reported coronavirus cases was observed for all age groups, according to the last week’s report published on Tuesday.
However, for the first time since the beginning of March, the most recent infections are found in the 20–29 years age group, in relation to the population.
During the previous five weeks, the age group 90 years and older had the most cases in relation to the population, the FHI report stated.
