Corona infection was detected on one russ bus in Oslo, and multiple upper secondary schools are affected by the outbreak.
Russefeiring is the traditional celebration for Norwegian high school pupils in their final spring semester.
“Currently, we do not have an overview of how many close contacts the infected had and how many will end up in quarantine,” assistant district chief physician Anders Danielsen Lie in the Nordre Aker district told newspaper Avisa Oslo.
Five people have been confirmed infected. The five are students at Blindern, Ullern, and Persbråten upper secondary schools.
The infection detection team is now working to clarify to which event the infection can be traced back to.
