In a new survey, three out of ten Norwegians say that they have changed their planned holiday abroad next year due to the corona situation.

“As the infection situation has developed with the omicron variant and the introduction of new measures, it is not surprising that many people now feel insecure about planning a trip abroad or holiday next year,” communications consultant Torbjørn Brandeggen in Tryg Forsikring stated.

In the survey, carried out by YouGov for Tryg in December, 30% of respondents said they changed their holiday plans abroad for next year due to the deteriorating corona situation.

“It may be wise to look at the development. Many countries now have significant restrictions, and the conditions related to entry rules, quarantine, and other restrictions change at short notice,” Brandeggen warned.
