Three people hospitalized after traffic accident on E39 in Trøndelag

Two people were seriously injured after a traffic accident on E39 in Heim Municipality in Trøndelag on Tuesday morning. Neither of the two is life-threateningly injured, the police say.

Trøndelag Police District says that a fuel truck and two cars collided on Tuesday morning. Six people were involved in the accident. Police reported the accident at 8:19 AM.

One person was transported to St. Olav by air ambulance, while two were taken to Orkdal hospital. The police told the newspaper Adresseavisen that the fuel truck probably ended up in the opposite lane and hit two cars.

The accident happened on the E39 between Liabøen and the ferry berth at Halsa. The road between Betna and Liabøen was closed for some time after the accident.
