Tolletaten with major campaign in the Oslo Fjord and along the southern coast
In connection with the Pentecost weekend and the start of the boating season, Tolletaten (Customs Administration) will carry out a large boat campaign in the Oslo Fjord and along the southern coast.
“We use what we have of resources on the maritime side to cover the largest possible area. The goal is for us to show presence and inform the public about the rules that apply when crossing the border at sea,” says Department Manager Nina Bergmann at the border control department of Southern Norway.
During the campaign, Tolletaten will use all of its vessels and, in addition, two coast guard vessels will participate. The agency will focus specifically on regulations related to the repair of yachts abroad.
