Tom Cruise has contacted Prime Minister Erna Solberg about starting the filming of  “Mission Impossible 7” in Norway in September.

This was stated in a letter to the Prime Minister’s Office from the Norwegian line producer Truenorth Norway, writes Bergens Tidende.

The line producer is arranging for “Mission Impossible 7” to be filmed here in the country.

The task of having a meeting between the actor and the Norwegian head of state is not entirely impossible, Culture Minister Abid Raja (V) confirmed to BT.

“We have talked to people on his staff. And we are happy to meet Tom Cruise. I hope, of course, that Erna Solberg can get this into her plans. But at least I’m ready. Tom Cruise and I have one thing in common – both have hung outside the Pulpit. He was in the previous “Mission Impossible” and I, in “71 degrees north,” Raja said with a laugh.

According to the letter from Truenorth Norway, Cruise is fascinated with Norway and will do what he can to film in this country. The film has been temporarily halted and postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
