Tombstones overturned in Tromso
In all, 26 tombstones were overturned at Tromso cemetery. The vandalism was discovered Saturday morning.
The tombstones that were overturned, were not the number but shows signs of being randomly selected, says police to newspaper Nordlys.
– We did notice it at noon today, and we think it’s done recently, he said.
It is also mess with the flowers on a fresh grave.
– We welcome your tips if anyone knows anything or has seen this. It is a very sad affair, says Augensen.
Churchwarden Nils Opsahl is upset.
– This is the ultimate low. Absolutely disgusting. People do not so intoxicated even says Opsahl to the newspaper Nordlys.
