A man was seriously injured after a violent incident in Tønsberg, while three other people were also injured.

The police were notified of the incident at 11:28 AM.

“A man of Eastern European origin has been taken to hospital with head injuries, partly unconscious,” the Southeastern Police District wrote on Twitter.

Three other people were also injured and needed medical help.

Operation leader Øystein Eikedalen in the Southeastern Police District informed news bureau NTB just before 12 o’clock that none of the people spoke Norwegian and that they were drunk.

“A vehicle with possible perpetrators was seen driving away from the scene. It could be a dark BMW,” the police noted.
