Two men have been arrested in Tønsberg, charged with inflicting bodily injury with a screwdriver and setting fire to a car while a person was inside.
The Southeast Police District wrote on Twitter that one man in his late 20s and another in his late 40s have been arrested.
“They are charged with inflicting bodily injury with a screwdriver and setting fire to a car while a person was sitting in the car,” the police added.
One person has been transported to the hospital for treatment. The police were notified of the incident at 6:25 AM on Friday. Johnsrud says that the injuries are probably not serious but that at least one person has been stabbed with a screwdriver.
Operations manager Jan Kristian Johnsrud told NTB that the police do not know why the acts of violence took place.
The police must get an interpreter before they can question the two men who have been arrested.
