The son of the lawyer Tor Kjærvik, who is charged with the murder of his father, will be moved from custody to a psychiatric institution.

The Oslo District Court has already made the decision, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) writes.

Last week, it became known that the experts who have examined the son believe that he was psychotic when he shot and killed his father, Tor Kjærvik, on April 12 this year. Psychiatrists believe that the man has paranoid schizophrenia.

According to NRK, the police wanted to remand the son in custody for four more weeks.
