A yellow danger warning has been issued for torrential rain for parts of Western Norway.

“Heavy rain showers of 15-30 mm/h have been observed in Hordaland, and they are expected to continue until early this afternoon.

“There are large local variations in intensity and quantity, and the weather can change quickly,” the Meteorological Institute wrote on Sunday.

The Institute warned that some roads by rivers and streams could be closed.

“Stay away from steep slopes, as well as streams with significant water flow,” the meteorologists noted.
