The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow danger warning for torrential rain for the areas of Østfold, Akershus, and Oslo.

The danger warning applies to Sunday afternoon and evening, and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute warns of large local variations in rain intensity and quantity.

The institute asks people to stay away from steep slopes and streams with large water flows.

There is a danger of surface water and flooding in densely populated areas, stream and river course changes, landslides, and floods in areas where the rain showers are particularly strong.
