On Monday afternoon, heavy rain showers, thunderstorms, and lightning are expected in Eastern Norway. Meteorologists have issued a “yellow” warning.
According to Yr, heavy rain showers will affect the area from Røros to the south of Oslo.
“There will be large local variations in intensity and quantity, and the weather can change quickly,” Yr writes on its website.
In connection with the rain showers, there is also a danger of thunderstorms with a lot of lightning. However, there will also be large local differences in the intensity of the storms.
The risk of torrential rain, lightning, and thunderstorms will increase at 2 PM on Monday and decrease at 1 AM on Tuesday.
Meteorologists have issued a “yellow” warning for torrential rain and lightning.
