Two tourists (from Poland) in their 30s were arrested after they flew drones around Haakonsvern naval base in Bergen, Sunday. According to police, espionage is not suspected.
According to NRK, the two were arrested by the military police.
“They have admitted criminal charges and have been fined and the drones confiscated,” the Western Police District said.
The two were arrested, but later released. Police emphasize that espionage is not suspected.
Haakonsvern War Station is located about eight kilometers southwest of Bergen city center and is the Navy’s main base.
